You will learn about how rates pay for the costs of operating and maintaining your water and sewer systems while also providing funds for repair and replacement of pipes and facilities. We will explore ways to control the costs of providing your water and sewer services while still maintaining a high level of customer support.
The District is proposing a total adjustment to water revenue of 4.8% which would be distributed within the rate structure as a 5.5% change in the water base charge and a 4% change in the variable rate based on water consumption. A single family residential customer using from 350 cubic feet to 750 cubic feet per month would see a monthly increase ranging from $1.75 to $2.04 on their water bill.
The District is proposing an adjustment to sewer revenue of 2.5% which would increase the monthly sewer rate for a single family sewer residential customer by $0.83 to $33.98 each month.
