- Annual Drinking Water Reports
You can access the Annual Drinking Water Reports that are produced every year as required by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Washington Department of Health to meet the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act. These reports summarize all the data that supports our job in keeping your water clean, safe, good tasting and available.
In accordance with federal and state regulations, and our own rigorous schedule, the water in each of our wells throughout the distribution system is tested constantly. The Washington Department of Health (DOH) requires us to monitor for some contaminants less than once per year because the concentrations of these contaminants do not change frequently. Water is collected and sent to independent testing laboratories and all test results are reported to DOH. The District’s water meets or exceeds all federal and state standards. The monitoring results can be found in the Annual Drinking Water Report. It includes 70 bacteriological monitoring samples throughout the system per month and at least 840 per year. In addition, we test for inorganic elements, pesticides, herbicides, organic chemicals, nitrates and disinfection byproduct substances annually.
We maintain five years of Annual Drinking Water Reports on this website. These reports contain the most recent information about your drinking water quality, water sources, any detected substances and water use efficiency information. Please contact us to receive reports from previous years.
