On March 24, 2020, Governor Inslee issued Proclamation 20-28 temporarily prohibiting in-person meetings and contacts with the public that are required by the Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA) and the Public Records Act (PRA).
Sammamish Plateau Water remains committed to open and transparent practices. In response to the proclamation, we have adjusted how we will coordinate and provide access to Board of Commissioners’ meetings and public commenting.
The Board meets on the first, second and third Mondays of the month at 3:30 p.m. at the District office.
Members of the public are always welcome at our meetings! At the beginning of each meeting, there is a public comment period where you can speak for three minutes to share your ideas. ***For remote Board meetings during this time, public comments should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 12 noon the day of the meeting.***
If you have a longer presentation and need more time, please complete the Request to Appear Before the Board and we will put your topic on the agenda for a more detailed discussion.
