District pays down revenue bonds

Earlier this month, the Board of Commissioners celebrated paying off the debt service associated with revenue bonds from 2005 for $7 million combined.

The Bond funds were used to finance improvements throughout the District’s distribution system, including but not limited to improving Beaver Lake Park sewer service; replacing and extending sewer main lines; remodeling a well house; and completing other capital projects within the District’s 29-square-mile service territory.

This outcome was made possible by the District’s organizational culture of asset management and fiscal responsibility, as the District seeks to provide sustainable and reliable services to our customers. More information about the District’s Asset Management and Capital Plans can be found on our website here.
