Grow great plants, conserve water and protect our watershed! Join Seattle Tilth from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Oct. 5 for a free, hands-on workshop all about getting “water smart” in your yard and garden, from soaker hoses and drip irrigation to rain gardens and cisterns (and everything in between). You’ll leave the workshop with the knowledge and resources to save money and conserve water at your home! Sammamish Plateau Water is hosting this workshop, which is sponsored by Cascade Water Alliance. The workshop will be located at District headquarters, 1510 228th Ave. SE in Sammamish. Seattle Tilth will focus on getting ready for fall weather by taking a look at rain barrels, cisterns and other practical solutions for your yard and garden. Participants will receive free resources and great door prizes to get started right away. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
